Tetiana Kalivoshko & Cultural Drifts present What Remains, marking two years of the Los Angeles-based artist-led platform and the opening of a new studio space in downtown Los Angeles.
Developed through Kalivoshko’s artistic practice and in dialogue with Cultural Drifts, the project brings together installation, painting, and performance. The exhibition presents large-scale works, layered materials, and time-based actions that reflect an evolving approach to space, material, and collective production.

Cultural Drifts emerged from an ongoing exchange between artists and writers working across disciplines. Two years ago, a group first met at a rooftop opening in downtown Los Angeles. What began as a passing encounter opened into a sustained dialogue — a process of making work and shaping something together.
Co-founded by Kalivoshko, the collective has since developed a sustained practice shaped through collaboration, experimentation, and lived experience.
We built our own space.

Rather than functioning as a retrospective, What Remains presents a continuation, bringing together performance, painting, and video from the past two years alongside new work. The exhibition reflects an evolving body of practice grounded in material exploration, spatial construction, and performative action.
